I believe that the editing of an actual news programme was very good, it was realistic and i believe i interpreted it well, however i do agree that i could have used more camera shots and angles and i think my editing of the UFO could have been better.

4) Learner response: think about what you learned about cinematography making the video and also watching others. What will you do differently when you start the coursework in the summer? What tips or tricks have you learned from others that you can use next time? Are there any specific aspects of camerawork that you need to revise or practice?

I've learned that camera shots can really help tell the narrative in a media film. For example in my practical task i used medium shots on a tripod to represent the professional camera work that news reporters use, in addition i included a POV shot to help the audience recognise what the witness saw and what the actual news report is about. In general cinematography is very useful in media and does help in understanding a media text. When i start my coursework in summer i will definitely use more camera angles and shots in order for my audience to understand my production more and i will work on my editing so that it is at a higher standard.
